Forellenmeister.eu Fishing Team
Our team consists of a group of good friends who enjoy trout fishing. We spend the whole year at various ponds, rivers and lakes in Germany and sometimes abroad.
We see ourselves as friends who enjoy what we do and our hobby.
The team also tests the tackle that is available in our shop.

I started fishing through my father. I quickly realized that I really enjoyed fishing. I have suffered from cystic fibrosis since birth. This is an incurable disease. (www.muko.info) Through my illness and a related fundraising run, I came into contact with many anglers through my father. Among others, I also met Niki from Forellenmeister.eu. I met the rest of the team when we went fishing together and we all got on well straight away and I felt very comfortable. When the team asked me at another meeting if I wanted to be part of the whole thing, I was very happy and didn't hesitate for a second and accepted the offer. I'm looking forward to many great days on the water with my family and the other team members.

Actually, my big hobby is hunting and that's why Erwin (the dachshund) is my faithful companion in the photo. I got into trout fishing through a friend and that's how I met Niki. We got on well right away and I couldn't turn down the question of whether I wanted to join the team as a woman in order to loosen up the image of fishing as a very male-dominated sport. I'm looking forward to great events and lovely days on the water with you.

Niki Seipp (Niki Forellenmeister.eu)
I caught my first trout in 1993 when I was 16. Since then I have learned, tried out and internalized many different techniques. Today I prefer to fish with small spoons and rubber baits in the UL range. But I am always drawn to the big river or the sea and here too the possibilities never seem to be exhausted. My motto: I like to pass on the experience I have gained, but I am not omniscient. No one is born a master and you never stop learning.

Ralf Schmidt (Ralle)
When I was 13, I caught my first trout from Weil im Taunus. It was a beautiful maiden voyage at 1.5 kg. This experience has left its mark on my fishing life. I still love going to the salmon pond and am always on the lookout for the heavy fish. I explain it to myself by saying that these fish are not easy to catch and you have to try a lot to be successful. I now mainly use spoons, rubber baits and bottom rigs. Anyone who knows me knows that no journey is too far for the perfect day of fishing. I place great value on true friendship and I am sure that once you have found it, it is just as lasting as the joy of fishing.

Peter Bach
My name is Peter and I come from Koblenz. My father took me fishing when I was a child. This is where I discovered my passion for our shared hobby. I mainly fish on the Rhine but also at various fishing facilities. I am most fascinated by UL fishing. The intensive contact with the fish during the fight, as well as breathing life into a lifeless piece of metal, rubber or wood by moving the bait (in order to persuade the fish to bite), is an exciting challenge that I am happy to accept. Since fishing with friends is simply more fun, I am delighted to be part of this team.

Hello, hello!! My name is Jens and I'm a real "Hamburg boy". I caught my first trout when I was 8 years old and since then I've been passionate about trout fishing. When my three children were born, I initially concentrated more on being a father and let the hobby rest for a while. But when my son Mats turned 5 and said he wanted to go fishing, things really took off again. We both go ultralight fishing for trout every 14 days now and Mats is simply a natural talent. He usually wins over his proud dad ;-) and is loudly happy about it. I'm glad that we met Niki through fishing and that he accepted us both into the Forellenmeister.eu fishing team.

Thomas Jahnke (Uncle Tom)
Thomas on my ID, Uncle Tom on Facebook and TroutlakeTom as a UL angler. These three names simply belong to me. I started fishing when I was 10 years old and never settled on one type of fishing. I have always done what gives me the most joy. This includes a beautiful lake, a river or even a pond. In addition to fishing, the people around me are very important to me. I discovered ultra light fishing for trout in 2018. This is where I became aware of the Forellenmeister.eu shop in 2019. I immediately hit it off with Niki, and being part of the team is a great pleasure for me.

Matthias Konsierke (Matze)
I had my first experience with fishing when I was 14. Back then, we were busy fishing for carp with our neighbors. It was a passion that I still carry with me today. Nowadays, however, I often go UL fishing all over Germany, because I really enjoy fishing with small spoons and rubber baits. I also often go to the club waters in my hometown of Gießen, where I go after predatory fish and the well-known carp. I am very knowledgeable and love learning new things about fishing. What I like most is fishing with friends and having nice conversations.

My father gave me my first rod when I was about 5 years old. Since then I have been fishing non-stop on lakes, rivers and, for some time now, for trout in ponds. I discovered ultralight fishing about three years ago and I am so enthusiastic about this technique that I am constantly refining it. I like travelling with Niki and we stop at ponds all over Germany and Holland is also regularly on the agenda. Denmark and Switzerland are still on the list.

As the owner of a restaurant in Marburg, in the heart of Hesse, I have found fishing to be the perfect balance to my stressful everyday life. When I fish for trout with an ultra light rod, I forget the world around me and find peace. I love going out spontaneously with friends and my favorite thing is rubber fishing. My great passion is rare ultra light rods that you can't find on every corner.

As a native, cheerful Rhinelander, I first fished at the trout lake in the Aachen area when I was 7 years old and was hooked from then on. At 12 I joined the fishing club with bait; winkle picker, carp, etc. but I also went to the trout farms in the Voreifel. After a long break from fishing, the fever was rekindled at a Tyrolean mountain lake and after years I started again, but almost exclusively for trout. Then came tremarella and later UL, which I am most enthusiastic about at the moment. Two years ago I also developed a passion for rod building, so at the moment I only fish with self-made or converted rods... I actually prefer fishing with spoons... but recently the "rubber part" has increased.

Since I was 5 years old, I discovered fishing for myself and developed a great passion for it. In the first few years I fished for trout and from the age of 9 I mainly fished for zander and perch. I go fishing very often and am always looking for new techniques to improve certain things. You are never too old to learn and recently I discovered UL fishing for trout. I now want to devote myself 100% to this type of fishing and gain experience. I have met a lot of nice people and founded my own Facebook group for Belgium (Ultra Light Trout Fishing Belgium). As the first team member from Belgium, I am looking forward to making many new acquaintances and having a good time in the Forellenmeister.eu team.

My name is Michael, I am 49 years old and come from Herne, the heart of the Ruhr area. When I was just 6 years old, my grandfather took me to the trout pond to go sit-and-stand fishing. But I soon developed a passion for fishing more actively and breathing life into the bait as it moves through the water. I got hooked on ultralight fishing in 2019 and since then I have been using this technique to go to the trout pond and the river (Lenne). Ultralight fishing, especially with my friends from the team, gives me a lot of joy and, as a professional firefighter, gives me the relaxation and variety I need to wind down after work.
